We’re
here to help
Whether you are a GP, an optometrist, or a patient, our dedicated patient care team is here to help.
Our clinics offer a wide range of advanced eye treatments and specialist procedures, designed to support and restore long-term vision and overall eye health.
If you are a patient looking to understand your treatment options, or a healthcare professional seeking trusted clinical support and shared care, our experienced team is available to answer questions.
While a referral is not always necessary, we do recommend visiting your optometrist or GP first and asking them to refer you to us directly. This helps streamline your care, provides our consultants with a complete medical history, and ensures you receive the most accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
What you need to bring to your appointment at Veonet Ireland will depend on the type of eye condition being assessed and the treatment or consultation required. In most cases, patients should bring:
- – Details from their most recent optometrist or GP visit, including prescriptions, test results, or referral letters.
- – A list of current medications and any relevant medical history.
- – Glasses, contact lenses, or prescriptions currently in use.
- – For certain eye examinations, your pupils may be dilated, which can temporarily affect your vision. In these cases, it may not be safe to drive after your appointment, so arranging alternative transport is recommended.
If you are unsure what to bring or have questions about your specific condition, our patient care team will be happy to advise and guide you before your visit.
At Veonet Ireland, we aim to make every appointment as smooth and effective as possible, ensuring you feel prepared and supported throughout your eye care journey.
The length of your eye appointment at Veonet Ireland will depend on the reason for your visit, the complexity of your eye condition, and the tests recommended by our specialist clinical team. On average, most eye consultations last between 30 minutes to 1 hour, but some appointments may take longer if additional diagnostic tests or procedures are required.
If your pupils need to be dilated for a detailed examination, this can extend the duration of your visit and may temporarily affect your ability to drive afterwards.
To help us provide the most efficient care, please bring any recent prescriptions, test results, or referral letters from your GP or optometrist.
For specific details about your appointment length, our patient care team will be happy to advise you in advance. At Veonet Ireland, we are committed to making every appointment thorough, patient-focused, and tailored to your individual needs.
